After the execution of Louis Mandrin, a famous outlaw and folk hero of the mid-eighteenth century, his companions risk the adventure of a new smuggling campaign in the provinces of France. Under the protection of their weapons, smugglers organize wild markets where they sell tobacco, precious fabrics and products.
